Two things on offer

Each day when we wake up, we are given a chance and a choice. A chance to make a difference and a chance to be better. A chance to be happy and to be loved. A chance to live life for that one day. But we are also presented with a choice. This can be a choice to be happy or sad, to smile or to frown, to be present or to be distracted. Each day, we are given these two things: a chance and a choice in many areas of life. A chance to make a change in your situation is also there each day, but you have to make a choice to make it happen. For change to come, you need the courage to choose the way forward—whether to start something new or to stay where you are. This is your choice. No one can make it for you. No one can choose for you. Whatever you decide to do becomes your choice. Whether it’s influenced by social media or the people around you, in the end, what you do with your life is your choice. You choose what you decide to do with your life. You must choose wisely. We are not given unlimited chances in life. Some chances come only once in a lifetime. Some may come a few times, but nothing comes to stay. Each chance must come and go. You must seize the moment because it might not come back again. The Bible says wise choices will watch over you. It asks that you be very careful how you live—not as unwise, but as wise, making the most of every opportunity. What are you doing with these two gifts?
