Within the veil
After the first lockdown with God, finding your secret place book, there was a need to take the reader deeper into the presence of God, to help them appreciate and enjoy being in the secret place. I expect that after reading the first lockdown with God book, the reader has found the secret place. That is God’s presence, as we seek Him each day in His Words. This book is written to help take you deeper and encourage you to take on the challenge of staying longer, hearing more of God’s words in your heart. Within the veil is where we can learn to tarry a little bit longer, waiting upon the Lord in our secret place. In here we learn to behold the face of God, seeing His attributes and gazing upon the beauty of His countenance. Within the veil lies the holiness of God seldom seen from a hurried meeting with Him in our daily devotions. If we are to see within the veil, we need to learn to wait upon Him.

This book is a compilation of some of my teachings on the subject and was among my first sermons when I was just starting to preach. Borne out of what I have learned from North Korean Christians, this book explores the meaning of Christianity in a matter of fact way. It looks into God’s Word and sought to establish what really is a Christian and what happened to us when we gave our lives to Christ. I wrote this book to help bring challenge and inspiration to many believers the way I was challenged and inspired by our North Korean brothers and sisters to live out our Christianity not in words but in deed.
