The Courage to walk alone

The courage to walk alone. How do we find the courage to walk the road alone? When you find yourself alone and when everyone else is not interested in walking with you, where will you find the courage to walk that path alone? The courage you need to walk a path that few people want to take requires a strength that comes from within you. It is an invisible source of courage that lies within. When everyone else is telling you, "Don't go," you rise above it all; you go against what others are telling you and move forward, telling yourself you can. This courage belongs to those who are determined to succeed, and it comes from somewhere deeper. This courage is not dependent on other people or those who surround you. It depends on your disposition, on the stability of strength that you have inside you. Those who have found this courage know who their God is. God is our strength. God is our refuge. God promised to be with us wherever we go. And so we know that even if we have to walk alone, we can be assured of God's presence, that He will be with us, and that no matter where we go in this life, even if we are going alone, He will never leave us nor forsake us. Therefore, the courage to walk alone comes from having confidence in God, knowing in your deepest heart that He will be with you and that He will never fail you.
