Season of hope is here!

We are entering spring, and this season always reminds us that no matter the darkness of winter, there will always be spring—a season filled with new hope and possibilities. This season gives us not only new beginnings but also a promise of a better tomorrow. Light filters through our once-darkened windows, and new shoots appear on every tree around us. The changes in our season are a gentle reminder that God has promised His mercies are new every morning.

I know that we have been bombarded with news of war, rumors of war, and escalating tension in the Middle East. This time, it is no longer just hearsay or something on our television screens, but the events feel nearer to us because many of us have friends and loved ones stranded in airports, and those who are working in the Gulf region give us fresh updates every day. It feels as if spring will never come when we look at what is happening.

Yet God is a God of hope. He will never leave us without hope. Hope is the one important promise God gave us when He sent His only Son in the darkest hour of human history. He came to bring hope. He came to tell us of His mercy and His great love for each of us who have sinned against Him. He came to announce spring—a season of hope for each of us.
