New beginnings

I love the stillness of the early morning hours. At dawn, when you watch the sun silently rise, there is a sense of freshness. There is hope, another chance waiting for you to start anew, to right the wrongs, to improve upon yesterday's shortcomings. It speaks of new beginnings. The sky showcased its beautiful rose-pink colors, hinting at another new beginning on the horizon. It whispers to me that God loves new beginnings. His mercy is new every morning. God is a God of second chances. We all come from brokenness, given our second chances. We may have messed up our first life, been broken and destroyed, but God lovingly picked us up, helping us piece everything back together and making all things new in our lives. God is the God of all beginnings, the Alpha, and the Omega. Jeremiah the prophet once visited the Potter’s house. There, the Lord taught him a beautiful life lesson. He watched as the pot the potter was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so he formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him. Nothing in our lives is wasted, no mistakes, no foolishness is wasted if we give it to God, trusting Him as our Potter to reshape our broken, messy lives for another chance at life.
