Moving Your Mountain

A mountain can be anything that's hindering you right now from fulfilling your potential or achieving your goals. It can be a problem you feel is too big or a situation that's becoming uncontrollable, and you feel that you are up against a wall. Whatever mountain you are facing right now, you have the power to move it. The Bible talks about faith that is able to move mountains. This faith can be as small as a mustard seed. The mustard seed was used in Jesus' time to represent the smallest things and the potential of faith. Why do you think faith as small as this seed has the power to move mountains? This is because our faith rests not on itself but on the God with whom we rest our faith. Faith depends on our knowledge of God and a confident faith trusts not in its own working but in the mighty God who is able to move your mountain. Faith gives you the ability to see things from God's perspective. It enables you to enter His realm and see your circumstances from God's vantage point. With God, all things are possible. Faith sees what is not seen, feels what others can't, and proves them by making the impossible possible. Do you need to move your mountain? How deep is your confidence in God?
