I wanted to follow up from my last blog post regarding living in the moment because I wanted to share a feedback sent by my friend in Canada after she read the post. One day last year, she saw a Blue Jay bird. It was the first time she had seen one, and it was beautiful. She instantly thought, “Ooh, I must grab my camera so I can send pics to the kids.” When she got back, it had gone! She felt the Lord say, "that was just for you, behold these moments". I love what she said about “Behold these moments”. Just behold! It’s very true because oftentimes God just wants us to behold! Sometimes when we see an amazing scenery, instead of beholding it first and appreciating its beauty, we want to grab our cameras to take a picture and a selfie. In moments of awe and wonder, we need to learn to behold to truly see. What does this mean? It means to learn to behold, learn to perceive, and not to miss what you are seeing. When John the Baptist saw Jesus’ walking towards him, he said, “Behold the Lamb of God.” Here is something we must not miss. Faith is a gaze of our soul to the One true God who loves us with unconditional, everlasting love! In our lifetime, we will all be given the opportunity to behold Jesus, to see the goodness of God in our life. Make sure you do not miss these moments. We sometimes worry and get agitated about so many things.  But one thing is needful, and that is to behold only the face of Christ.  With this, all will be well.
