Is there more to life than this?

Is there more to life than what this world is showing us? When at the end of our life's struggles and we reach the pinnacle of success, we feel this aching void inside the very depth of our heart. In the silence of the night, we hear this silent whisper: "there must be more than this."I have travelled the world and experienced life with all its ups and downs, the beauty and the ugly, the pain and comfort, trials and triumphs, heartaches and overflowing joy. All these and more make up the journey we call "life." This journey we initially thought was a long one ended up being just a brief "drop by" in this place called Earth. Before we know it, our years have all been spent, and only a few are left to count for our birthdays. Is there more to life than this? These careers and positions we worked so hard to get, the ever-upgrading add-ons to top it all up, nice houses, the latest car model, all kinds of gadgets and toys. To spice it up, we have our holidays and travels. When we look back, we remember our struggle for promotions at work as if it were the most important thing. We fought so hard to gain success in life to buy things we do not need. In the end, we were left exhausted and empty. Is there more to life than going through this endless cycle of pursuits and accumulation of "stuff" we will all leave behind one day? The answer is yes. There is more to life than all this. There's another way. An option to live it differently. To try to make this one short life count. To choose to have faith in the One God who designed our lives for a purpose greater than life itself. To find this purpose is your life's greatest discovery. To live it out is your life's greatest calling. To learn to love another, to give and allow your life to be spent for a cause greater than your life. That's more than all this. It is in losing your life that you find it.
