For the sake of peace

Can we put a price tag on peace? Choosing peace over the pursuit of fame, pleasure, riches, or endless wealth is a far wiser decision. For the sake of peace, we are encouraged to be peacemakers, to embrace a path of tranquility and calm, and to steer clear of chaos and harm. Pursuing peace involves a conscious effort to avoid contentious arguments and conflicts that can unsettle the heart. At times, in the name of peace, it becomes necessary to relinquish our desire for justice and cease fighting for it. Jesus Himself suffered injustice at the cross and chose to remain silent even in the face of false accusations. There is a time for everything under the heavens, including a time when all justice will be served. We release our grip and trust in God to handle the shattered fragments of our lives, mend our broken hearts, and seek solace in His presence, acknowledging that His ways and intentions surpass our current understanding. In the pursuit of peace, we opt for acceptance of anything that may disrupt this inner serenity. True wealth lies in being able to rest peacefully while others around us continue to vie for temporary worldly gains.
