Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. This inward sincerity and purity of heart is a deep-seated longing of those who desire a profound experience of God’s presence. A pure heart is an uncorrupted heart, free of malice and bitterness. There is no room for hatred or grudges, only benevolence and goodwill towards others, along with a pure devotion to God. It is a state of heart free from deceit and hypocrisy, not double-minded, but trusting God fully like a child. This is the heart that God looks for. Is there such a heart? Can God find such a pure and contrite heart among us? God looks not as man sees; He looks at the heart, while men look at the outward appearance. We can all hide our true selves from the outside, but God sees the inner part, and He desires truth in the inward part. A heart without malice. Pure and sincere. This is what God is looking for. Is your heart without malice?
