Wait

To everything, there is a season and a time for every purpose under the heavens.

Waiting can be hard. It is not something we love to do. There is a restlessness inside us whenever we wait. It’s difficult for us to wait because we want to be in control of our situation, and when we need to wait, what’s coming is beyond our control, which we do not like. However, waiting is a virtue—a discipline that belongs to those who can do great things. To those who wait comes strength and better opportunities. Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall walk and not be weary, and they shall run and not faint. Those who wait are rewarded with the best. Waiting is faith in operation. To wait is to trust that whatever it is you are expecting will come at the right time. Are you waiting for something right now? Don’t give up hope. Be strengthened by knowing that good things come to those who wait. Can you wait a little longer?
