The risk worth taking

I live under a flight path and i always love to look up and watch the airplanes pass by our house until they disappear into the vastness of the sky. It always leave me with a sense of wonder, how one's life could be so vulnerable, so fragile. And being up there in an airplane at an altitude of 42,000 feet amplifies this reality a thousand times. The truth is, we take this risk willingly because we believe that it is a risk worth taking. When the plane lands and we reach our destination, we sighed with great relief because we took the chance to be vulnerable up there and lived. You might be in a situation where you needed to convince yourself to take a risk that might bring a massive change in your life. You are probably trying to muster the courage to risk something comfortable and familiar in exchange for an unknown future but with crazy possibilities. These uncertainties are what make you afraid, but these can also change your life! But unless you take risks, you will never know what is beyond where you are. William Faulkner, an American writer once said that "you cannot swim for new horizons until you have the courage to lose sight of the shores." With this, you must go on and try! Take the risk, knowing that it is a risk worth taking. Taking a risk is in itself, the risk worth taking! Do you want to live your life wondering WHAT IF?
