Precious moments

Life is made up of moments—moments when memories are created that make us smile long after they have passed. When our lives move so fast, we can sometimes forget to pause or stop. When this happens, our moments pass us by. We forget to make precious moments because we rush through life. Days can quickly turn into months and years before we look back and realize how short life can be. We must learn to slow down and pause—stop if necessary—just to capture life’s moments. Cherish them and savor them like you do your favorite food! Moments never come back. We can only look back and remember these precious times. Life is like a vapor; it appears for a little while, then vanishes away. The Bible teaches us to redeem the time because the days are evil. This tyranny of the urgent kills our moments every day. Not everything in life is urgent. There are many reasons why we must slow down, but the main one is that life is made up of moments. Today, right now, this moment is all you have.
