It’s not too much to ask. One life is all we have. We’ve got one shot, and that is all. If we only live once, maybe we should give this one lifetime our very best. But the truth is, the moment we escaped childhood, we immediately launched ourselves into a lifetime of endless acquisition—mostly of things we never really need! We started chasing after the latest trends, the latest fashion, the latest models—from phones to televisions to the type of car we drive. We end up slaving away our best years for these things that don’t really matter! But one life is all we have, and to live it fully is what it asks of us—not to accumulate, but to live it fully and freely. How do we break free from this nonstop chasing after convenience and wealth? When will you decide to live your one life? The Bible says that life is like a vapor, which appears for a little time and then vanishes away. It’s like the grass in the field—here today, but gone tomorrow. One short life. One beautiful privilege, one chance is given to us to live this life. What are you doing with it? Are you living it to its fullest, or are you just existing and barely getting by? When will you decide to live for what really matters? Don’t let your life pass you by. Live this one life. Live and cherish each moment you are given. One day, these moments will be gone. Your days will have turned into years, and now you can only look back. Love more. Give more. Live more. Less of the stuff that doesn’t really matter. More of what you love. More of what makes your heart smile. One life. Are you living it?

This is very helpful.. I have been watching a lot of decluttering videos and its been 7 months that I am wiser on where to spend my resources -Glory to God. Every week I try to declutter my clothes. I am a keeper so I have some from even 15 years ago. I realized that life shouldn't be so complicated with possessions. The Lord has taught me a lot this year -even I don't consider myself craving for materials here on earth. :) My the Lord grant me the wisdom I need so I can decide properly.
