Your life has a purpose

I watched with great admiration how the ants collect food for the rainy days. These tiny creatures know their purpose and they live their everyday lives living up to their full potential! What a way to live! If these little ants have their purpose, how much more we, as human beings created in the image of God, have a higher purpose than just to merely exist? At the moment of birth, the intricate details of our unique creation show the purpose of our lives. Each has been designed to fulfil a potential no one else on earth could. Our specific purpose in life can be seen through our gifts and talents. These are the hints as to what we are created to be. Eric Liddell, once known as “the flying Scot,” won the Olympic title as one of the fastest men who ever lived. He once said that God made him fast, and when he runs, He feels God’s pleasure. Living up to our full potential gives God glory, and He is pleased to see us live our lives according to what He designed for our lives to be. Not one person on earth is created without a purpose. This gives us a reason to wake up every morning. It encourages us to dream and to plan our lives knowing that we do not just wake up to eat and drink. There is a purpose for our existence. First, to find our place in the universe in the knowledge of our Creator God. Then, through this, we can know who we are and what we are born to do. Are you living your life on purpose?
