Any mountain climber will tell you that in order to reach the peak, you have to be determined to finish the climb. There will be many instances when you will want to turn back when it gets tough. Climbers often encounter difficult bits and challenges as they climb but its your tenacity and endurance which will get you to the top. Most entrepreneurs know that in business, it is this stubbornness about your goal which refuses to let go that oftentimes is the key to success. What is tenacity? It is that little boy who refused to stop crying until his mom gives in to what he wanted. It is a desperate father who won't leave the interviewer until the job is his because he refused to return to his family without food for their table. It is that runner who gets up again and again in the middle of the race even if his body is telling him to quit. Tenacity is when you can keep your dream alive even when everyone else is telling you it's dead. Tenacity is you hanging on to your goals and refusing to give up even when the rest of the world tells you it's time to let go. The triumph of tenacity lies in you staying put and never ever letting go. If you believe in your dreams, hold on to it, don't let anyone tell you to drop it. How determined are you to reach the top?

This short read 'tenacity' by Mavek is both inspirational and challenging. I needed to read a few times to also grasp a key message. Where mentioned about a child refusing to stop crying until its needs are met and a desperate father refusing to leave the interviewer empty handed. I felt these responses are not about personal selfishness. Instead, also about wider vital goals and critical 'needs' being satisfied and met.

Its not always just about our 'wants' for personal benefits.

Thank you Mavic

Yes indeed it is so true that our tenacity can take us farther in this life but it is stronger and more meaningful when we take others with us and others benefited from our tenacity isn’t it xx
