Silver Lining

Have you ever looked at the dark clouds and noticed their silver linings? This is symbolic of hope in the midst of trials and darker moments in our lives. When you are going through difficult times and hardships surround your everyday life, it is as if this dark cloud rests upon you. The silver lining, however, reminds us of the hope we have even in terrible situations. There is a reason to be hopeful even when things are bad. There is always a silver lining in every dark cloud formation. This is what gives us hope when our situation seems hopeless. It is what keeps us going even when all we want to do is give up. The silver lining accompanies every dark cloud. In this life, the silver lining is our assurance from the Lord that He is with us and His presence surrounds us. No matter what happens, He is there.
